Another story that is doing the rounds is that Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha recently became victims of the so-called language barrier, when some of their Tamilian crew members couldn't follow the instructions given by their Hindi-speaking colleagues. During a song shoot for 'Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty', in a desert in Jaipur, some unit members were asked to throw sand, for the required effect. Later, instructions were issued in Hindi to stop throwing sand but naturally, the Tamilian crew couldn't follow instructions because they do not speak Hindi.
Says producer Vipul Shah, "Sand got into Akki and Sonakshi's eyes, hair and clothes. It was worse for Sonakshi, but she, Akshay and my director Murugadoss treated the situation like a comedy of errors and laughed off the whole thing. They were truly sporting. Otherwise, a situation like this could have brought the shooting to a halt."
