Amit Sadh injured on the sets of 'Guddu Rangeela'

The actor who plays the title role in the film was shooting a song sequence when the accident happened. He returned to Mumbai on Tuesday.

The executive producer of the film Naren Kumar, when contacted, confirmed saying, "Yes it is true that he is hurt and has returned to Mumbai. The doctors have advised him rest."

Amit was shooting the beginning of the song when he twisted his ankle. Kumar said, "It was just the beginning of the song, the boy and girl are walking down the stairs and Amit steps down and holds the girl's hand. Just when he took that step his ankle got twisted. We had to rush him to the doctor.


He is still in pain and probably has a hairline fracture. He has been advised to rest for at least 10 days." The shooting of 'Guddu Rangeela' started in the first week of March. On whether Amit not being part of the shoot will affect the shooting, Kumar said, "We are shooting with the other actors now and Amit will joins us only in Chandigarh and it is subjected to his recovery.''

'Guddu Rangeela' is a comical thriller with elements of satire. The film also has Arshad Warsi plays the role of Rangeela and the female lead is Aditi Rao Hydari.
