Deepika's personal bodyguard, Kartik Devghare, recently met with an accident and the mishap occurred when he was not on duty. Apparently, Devghare fractured his leg and as he is recuperating at home, he has not been able to report to work. When the actress got wind of his accident, she decided to step in and offer help.
Says a source, `When Deepika was told about Devghare's accident, she called up Ronit Roy as he owns the company that the bodyguard works for. She enquired about his health and even offered to help him out. She told Roy that she wants to take care of his expenses till he gets back to work.`
The source adds that Deepika wants to make sure that Devghare is well taken care of. `She wishes to help him in every possible way; she wants his treatment to go off smoothly,` says the source.
Deepika Padukone and Ronit Roy remained unavailable for comment.
