''Bold'' stars newcomers Tanvi Verma, Dev Gill and Samir Kochar and will hit the silver screen on September 23.
Talking to press, Mr Bokadia, who has made films like ''Teri Meherbaniya'', ''Pyar Jhukta Nahin'', and ''Aaj Ka Arjun'', agreed the title ''Bold'' was misleading about its content.
''It is not a skin show flick. The story is woman-oriented and how she fights out boldly to survive in the world of evil,'' Mr Bokadia said.
''I have a reputation to keep. Even the exposure by the female protagonist is the need of the script. Filmmakers have to think twice before making movies because the theatre prices are very high and they cannot afford to waste the time of audience,'' he added.
The veteran film-maker further said, ''Everybody was surprised to hear the title of my film wondering how I could stoop to this level to make films. I know my responsibility.
Audiences do not enjoy bad films made with the sole aim to titillate them .... It simply does not work.'' Mr Bokadia said he was reviving his BMB Music and Magnetic Ltd with the launch of music for ''Bold'' which has been composed by newcomer Vinay Kapadia.
Mr Bokadia's last film was ''Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam'' starring Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit.
He said his other projects to be released this year are Govinda-Priyanka Chopra starrer ''Dilruba'' and Sunny Deol-Tabu starrer ''Don't Challenge Me''.
