It's not that Celina Jaitley is doing something unique in her movies but what makes this former Miss
India a tad bit different from the rest of sleaze brigade is conviction that her skin show will take her
some some day.
In a recent interviews to a film glossy she says, "I'm hot, sexy and beautiful. So, I want to expose
my glamorous side through cinema. I want to make use of my sexy looks for as long as possible.
"I haven't yet reached the age of doing offbeat films. The day I feel that my fans don't want to see me
in bare-dare roles anymore, I will think of playing offbeat characters on screen."
Celina, who started her film journey in a bikini in Janasheen claims to have learnt a lot of lessons.
Though you can still see her wearing a towel, trying to seduce Kay Kay Menon in Silsiilay but there
is a self-imposed limits that she won't cross.
"Cheap films are strict no-no. Neither will I stoop so low to do something as vulgar as Girlfriend. My
first and last mistake was wearing a two-piece bikini at the start of my career. Today I'm using hot
and sexy body as a stepping stone to the next genre of movies.
"However, I do feel that producers and directors are starting to take me more seriously as an
actress. Hopefully, I will get offers from some famous filmmakers soon," she says.
Ask her if No Entry improve your job prospects and she says, "Yes. I am confident that it will. It's not
like Masti and will be enjoyed by older audiences as well."
And what's her take on doing item numbers?
"I have no qualms doing them. It depends on how they are shot. But I hate the term 'item number'. It sounds so derogatory. It's a performance of a different type, so why give it this tag?" she quips.
