T-Series acquires music rights of top notch films

Bhushan Kumar-led T-Series has acquired the music rights of upcoming films 'Jagga Jasoos', 'Kick' and 'Happy New Year', which feature some of the biggest stars in Bollywood.

In the recent past, the leading music label had a successful run with films like 'Yaariyan', 'Jai Ho', 'Highway', 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects' and 'Queen'.

'Kick', starring Salman Khan and directed by Sajid Nadidwala, is releasing in July. Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Happy New Year', produced by Gauri Khan and directed by Farah Khan, also features Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani among others.


'Jagga Jasoos', directed by Anurag Basu, features Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead. The movie has been made under the banner of Picture Shuru Productions, jointly promoted by Ranbir and Anurag.

T-Series, which has promoted several films over the years, plans to extend their scope of marketing and use different avenues to promote these films, the music giant said here.
