Sheeba, also the show's producer, will portray a Bengali mother who will fight with supernatural forces to save her daughter. Sharing the screen with her will be Makrand, a known theatre artist.
Of her experience, Sheeba said: "It was an exciting story and a concept of Bengali tradition was the reason that attracted me to be a part of it. It was a great experience."
She also enjoyed working with Makrand, who says "Bhoot Aaya" is a really wonderful concept.
"The role that I play was quite a challenging one and I love to be a part of horror generics," he said in a statement.
The episode will also feature the star cast of the movie "Gang of Ghosts".
The leading cast of the movie - Sharman Joshi, Mahie Gill, Satish Kaushik and Anupam Kher will be seen narrating a gripping story of a mother-daughter, who fall victims to Nishi Daak, a call for supernatural force which is usually governed by a tantric.
The show will air on Sony channel Sunday.
