Sources say the filmmaker Karan Johar is likely to cast Jhanvi Kapoor in an upcoming project

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's daughter, Jhanvi Kapoor, will apparently be launched by filmmaker Karan Johar. According to a source, KJo has met her many times already and is now considering launching her in an upcoming project.

`Karan is most likely to launch Jhanvi Kapoor. He has known her for a long time now, but recently he made up his mind to launch her,` says a source. It seems that talks to have her star in his film have been on for a while now; KJo is also apparently considering new faces who can be cast opposite her.

On her part, the star daughter has been busy grooming herself for a career in Bollywood. From dance classes to perfecting her diction, she is leaving no stone unturned.

Education first
The source adds that Sridevi has told KJo that she wants her daughter to first complete her education before deciding on a film career. `Jhanvi has also has been receiving offers from the South film industry. Producers want her to star opposite Chiranjeevi's son, Ram Charan Teja, and also do a film with Nagarjuna's son, Naga Chaitanya,` says the source. It remains to be seen as to which film Jhanvi will finally debut in. Both Karan Johar and her father, producer Boney Kapoor, remained unavailable for comment.
