Raj Babbar was supposed to shoot for Sanjay Kapoor's Tevar this week, but he has requested the crew to delay his shoot.
The actor has been busy campaigning in Ghaziabad where he will be contesting elections for a Lok Sabha seat. A source says, `Rajji plays a pivotal role in the film and we had planned to shoot with him on April 1 and 2. But he finally informed us that he is busy campaigning in his constituency and will have to postpone the shoot.`
Now the unit has decided to go ahead with his Delhi schedule and complete the shoot with the rest of the cast. `Most of the film has been shot in Delhi, where we had a 50 day schedule. When the shoot dates were being chalked out, Rajji was not aware about the election dates, so he allotted us these days.
But a few days ago, he called Sanjay (Kapoor) and requested him to postpone his shoot. He will now work on the film only after the elections,` says a unit member. Raj Babbar and producer Sanjay Kapoor were unavailable for comment.
