Actor Purab Kohli has a special "request" - he wants movie buffs to flock to theatres this weekend to watch his latest release "Jal" for its longevity.

"Request: if you want to see 'Jal' please try and see it during the weekend. It makes a big difference to our longevity in theatres #jal (sic)," he posted on Twitter Friday.

Starring Tannishtha Chatterjee, Kirti Kulhari and Mukul Dev, apart from Purab, the film is directed by debutant Girish Malik.

David Dhawan's commercial potboiler "Main Tera Hero", featuring Varun Dhawan, Nargis Fakhri and Ileana D'Cruz too released Friday.
