After the super success of ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum', Mumbai-based production house Balaji has come up
with another ‘kool' offering titled ‘Koi Aap Sa'.
Produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, the film is directed by Partho Mitra. Himesh
Reshammiya has scored the music for the film, while Sameer has penned the lyrics.
‘Koi Aap Sa' is a romantic drama starring Aftab Shivdasani (Rohan), Natasha (Simran) and
Deepanita (Preeti).
It's a story of three friends whose lives are full of fun and frolic. Rohan loves Preeti and his best friend
Simran. Simran is always giving him tips on how to woo pretty girls.
It is a triangular love story, revolving around the bonds of friendship and how these bonds enrich one's
life. Actor Aftab Shivdasani (Rohan) essays the role of a football champion in the film. Rohan is
basically a fun loving and sporty guy who hardly cares about the world.
"It's a very clean family entertainment. The film is full comedy, romance and emotions. It's a simple
love story and I think people always like watching such simple love stories," claims Shivdasani.
"It has a very commercial and melodious music. I feel many people are going to like the music of the
film because it has got fast tracks, items songs as well as love and romantic songs. I feel the music
has been composed in such a manner that it will cater to the taste of many people," he added.
After performing in ‘16 December', ‘Asambhav', ‘My Brother Nikhil' , actress Deepanita Sharma
would be playing a lead role this time.
"I am playing the role of an art student whose name is Preeti in the film. She is in love with Aftab.
She is a very strong-minded and self determined girl who takes all decisions on her own but at the
same time she is very emotional also. She is filled with jealousy and possessiveness like any other
ordinary girl," said Deepanita.
After acting in ‘Kucch To Hai', ‘Yeh Dil' and ‘Krishna Cottage', Actress Natasha is playing the role of
Aftab's best friend in the film. The film is set for release on October 14th.
