The long-in-the-planning project was bogged with several production issues and has now been kept on the backburner. The actress was looking forward to working with Big B and Kapoor. Last seen in forgettable films such as Inkaar and I Me Aur Main, Chitrangada has been missing from the scene.
She, however, says that there is another project in the pipeline which will take off in June. She is keeping her fingers crossed and interestingly, this is not her mentor Sudhir Mishra's project.
