In 2009 he had referred to a prominent Maharashtrian politician as a `master rapist`.
Today Hansal sees a lot of those `master rapists` trying to violate the country .
Fiercely opposed to fundamentalist forces Hansal recently signed a controversial petition pleading for voters to desist from voting for Narendra Modi.
Says Mehta, `I am not asking voters to not vote for Narendra Modi. I am asking them to vote against communal divisive forces. God save this country if such forces come into power.`
Hansal has pitched his tent with the Aam Aadmi Party. `I think Arvind Kejriwal deserves a chance. People who are doubting his ability to run the country are looking only at his short-term performance. Arvind has much larger plans.`
