Buzz is that the Rajinikanth-starrer 'Kochadaiiyaan', which was to release on May 1 was pushed to May 9 as 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' hits the marquee on May 1.

Thalaiva seems to have apparently got a wee bit worried at the last minute of being entangled in the spider's web. Then what about those jokes - Rajinikanth killed Spider-Man using anti bug spray. Hmmm...
