After the successful production of many TV serials, producer Ekta Kapoor launched the music of her soon to be released ‘Koi Aap Sa', pegged as a simple love story, starring young actors Aftab Shivdasani, Dipanita Sharma and Natashaa.

Himesh Reshammiya has scored the music whereas the lyrics have been penned by Sameer.

Directed by Partho Mitra, the storyline of the film starts with a love triangle among three friends Rohan (Aftab Shivdasani), Simran, (Natashaa) and Priti (Dipanita Sharma).

Rohan loves Priti and his best friend Simi gives him tips on how to woo the pretty miss. But, most of these tips fail to impress his lady love and he often takes out his anger at Simi.

Actor Aftab Shivdasani (Rohan) essays the role of a football champion in the film. Rohan is basically a fun loving and sporty guy without a care in the world.

"It's a film that dwells on the difference between friendship and love it's about two best friends who realises after a long time that they were in love. How does it happen and why. That's the story of the film. It's a light entertainment film based on moments. I think it's a perfect entertainer. The biggest asset of Koi Aap Sa is it's simplicity. There's nothing such as concept, turn or twists," said Aftab.

After acting in ‘Kucch To Hai', ‘Yeh Dil' and ‘Krishna Cottage', actress Natashaa is playing the role of Aftab's best friend in the film.

The album is to be going in a see-saw mode with a range of songs alternating between melodious and dance track.

"Music is very good. All the songs are very good. There is one item song in the film which is not picturized on me but it is amazingly good," Natashaa said.

After performing in ‘16 December', ‘Asambhav', ‘My Brother Nikhil' , actress Dipanita Sharma would be playing a lead role this time.

"My character's name is Preeti who is an arts student in the film. Preeti and Aftab like each other and I am playing a very mature, independent and emotional role in the film," Dipanita said.

The film is set for a release on October 14.
