Actress Monica Dogra is one daring personality. Her music and art including acting always has been acclaimed and they show great confidence. While a place like India still is rigid about the concept of homosexuality, Monica is amongst the few celebs who dare to stand up for the LGBT rights. When Monica got the opportunity to star in a short film dealing with a story of 2 women in love torn by an illness, she jumped on to the idea without a second thought.

The film is co-produced by Jeff Roy who has also produced many documentaries about the transgender community in India and Film Independent of LA. The film stars Monica and Casey Legler and is directed by Rosie Haber. Casey is best known as one of the most daring supermodels in America having endorsed brands like Diesel, Ck etc and was the first woman to be signed exclusively as a male model. The film will also screen at the prestigious LA film festival on 9th June.

While commenting on this Monica said, 'It was an incredible experience to land the opportunity to be a part of a film which revolves around a subject I firmly believe in and stand for. Working with Casey who is an Olympian, a profound performance artist, an actor with incredible depth, as well as a supermodel was a life changing experience. She is an artist in the truest sense of the word, who finds limits only to push past them - this propelled me to perform with a purity and emotional quotient I've never before experienced.'
