Film producers, directors and security agents have always known the dangers and vulnerabilities of new age smart phones which have high end cameras with good resolution, accuracy and even zoom options that makes clicking almost professional photographs even from a distance, really easy even for the common man.

Actress Anjana B's recently fell prey to one such smart phone. Her bikini pix for a film publicity shoot in Goa for the Hollywood film Love & Passion were leaked last week and released on a Bollywood content website IndyaNewz.com. The director David S Wolfe was understandably angry and wanted to get to the root of the problem. A source from IndyaNewz.com informed director David S Wolfe that the photographs were provided by a photographer who claimed to have "bought" the rights to the photographs. The director was shocked. How can someone 'buy' the rights of the stills of his film even before they were released?

A little probing revealed that a unit spot boy was responsible for the leak. He clicked the photographs on his cell phone and passed them on to another photographer who in turn passed them on to the website. The Hollywood director wanted to file a police complaint for theft as releasing copyrighted photographs amounted to stealing, however, Anjana convinced her director to take a slightly lenient view and punish the spot boy by sacking him.


Anjana B has signed on a Hollywood film along with a well-known Bollywood A-category actor which goes on floors in mid-June. The film is jointly produced by Weeping Shadow Films of Sussex, Great Britain and Gayatri Film Productions of Mumbai.

The movie which will be shot at various locales like Scotland, Thailand and in southern parts of India including Kerala, Goa and Pondicherry, supposedly has ample doses of steamy or bold scenes, which will be very aesthetically shot. A special fusion promo track that will have elements of Ballet, Bollywood, Salsa, Flamingo, Mujra, Tandav and Bellydance is under production. The promo sound track will be of approximately 5 to 6 minutes and will have a disco feel to it. It will be picturized in the last week of May this year.
