"My mom is very special to me. I have idolised her since my childhood. When I was a kid, the biggest thing was my mum's approval. I crave for my mother's approval. My mom is my mentor and the way she has taught me has made me a better mother."
She added: "If I am taking any decision in my life I always give it a thought what my mother will think about it. I know for a fact that she is not narrow minded and she is very cool."
The leading lady of hits "Baazigar", "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge", "Gupt" and "Dushman", has been a winner of several awards for her brilliant performances on the silver screen. But she feels one should move on after that.
"I think awards are great, but that's precisely for that time till you are on the stage and you are accepting that award. After that it's over. After that momentary high, you have to go to the next thing and go on with your life and don't have to live with that for the rest of your life," the 39-year-old said.
