After failing to entice the moviegoers with his acting prowess in Hindi films, actor Ayub khan is now all set to star in a Bhojpuri film titled ‘Chhaila Babu' in a bid to revive his career.

In ‘Chhaila Babu' Ayub Khan is paired opposite Rani Chatterjee, the reigning queen of Bhojpuri movies, who has earlier featured in several blockbuster regional films such as ‘Sasura Bada Paisa Waala', ‘Ganga Maiyyan Tohri Phihari Chadhaibo', ‘Bandhan Tute Na' and ‘Damadji'.

Rani is thrilled to work with Ayub in the movie and is pretty sure of its success.

"Songs of this film are very good. The story is very different and new for the Bhojpuri film industry. I am sure about the success of the film, because the entire starcast is doing justice to their roles. They fit into the characters they are signed for. I have high expectations from the film and am sure that the viewers are going to like it," said Rani.

Ayub, who has acted in a couple of Hindi movies like ‘Salami', ‘Mrityudand', ‘Mashooque', is playing Hira in the film.

"I am playing a character whose name is Hira in the movie. I playing the role of a a girl as well as a guy in the film. In the movie, my sister runs away from the house and to protect the image of my family I play wife of my ‘Jiju' (brother-in-law)," he said.

Hira goes with his sister's husband to his house. The story showcases the incidents that happen on the first night and how he protects himself.

"It also portrays the sequences about how I find my sister and save her and what happens when I fall for a girl," said Ayub.

The movie is written, produced and directed by Raj Kumar R. Pandey. Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Vinod Rathod, Shreya Ghoshal and Sapna Awasthi have sung the songs.

The movie has gone on the lavish and enormous sets designed for a dream sequence in Mumbai. This shooting schedule will further step in Lucknow, Allahabad and Gonda in Uttar Pradesh for a nonstop spell.
