Vidya Balan's detective film, 'Bobby Jasoos', is slated to release in July. However, the makers have not been able to decide on a city to unveil the trailer.
A source says, `We shot a major chunk of the film in Hyderabad and the creative team feels that it would be the perfect place for the trailer launch. In fact, they are too attached to the place and want to have the first event in the city of Nizams.`
Moreover, Dia Mirza, who is one of the producers of Bobby Jasoos, also belongs to Hyderabad and is quite keen to have the trailer launch in her home town.
`However, the co-production house feels that since Mumbai is synonymous with Bollywood, the makers should unveil the first look here itself. Besides, it would be convenient for them to organise an event here instead of flying to Hyderabad with the entire cast and mediapersons. Currently, the creative team and production house are conducting meetings to decide the venue so that the trailer launch is not delayed any further,` the source adds.
A spokesperson for the film says, `What Kolkata was to 'Kahaani', Hyderabad is to 'Bobby Jasoos'. So, we are tempted to launch the trailer in Hyderabad.`
