"I don't think there is any sense of competition with that film. All I know is that we have made the best film. I don't know about that film and don't know when it is releasing," Vidya told reporters here at the trailer launch of 'Bobby Jasoos'.
The film starring Vidya celebrates the aspiration of Bobby, who wants to become the number one detective. Directed by Samar Shaikh, the film is produced by Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha and is presented by Reliance Entertainment. It is slated to release on July 4.
Ranbir will be seen in Anurag Basu's detective film 'Jagga Jasoos' with Katrina Kaif. The actor is also co-producing 'Jagga Jasoos' with Anurag Basu and has floated a joint company called 'Picture Shuru Productions' "to turn the maiden co-production venture into a big franchise with a series of films, a show on television and comic books".
When asked about the fear of detective films not doing well at the box office, Mirza said, "It is unfair to talk about it. It is difficult to say what worked in a film and what did not. We have made this film with utmost honesty."
