Salman Khan is known to be a record breaking superstar. His films constantly keep rewriting Bollywood financial records and he has delivered many mega blockbusters in recent times.

This time around, his next project with Sooraj Barjatya, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo co-starring Sonam Kapoor, has created a new kind of record. The music rights to the film have been sold for an unprecedented Rs 18 crores - this, before filming has even begun, reports Indian Express.

The outsized price tag is, of course, no guarantee of quality. What if Prem Ratan Dhan Payo's soundtrack makes Jai Ho sound Grammy-worthy?

Sooraj Barjatya is known to have an ear for music, however, and his films have a fairly decent track record in the music department. We sure hope that the luck continues.
