Ajay Devgn-starrer 'Action Jackson' was slated to release in November this year but it has now emerged that the film's release has apparently been pushed to next year.
Says a source, "The film, directed by Prabhu Deva, was supposed to hit the screens later this year but now the film has been pushed to next year. The climax of the film will be shot in July, which means that the post production of the film will also get delayed. Accordingly, the film's release had to be pushed much ahead."
The source adds that Ajay wants to complete Singham Returns first and then finish work on 'Action Jackson'. "The climax of the film has not yet been shot; it has been pending for a long time now and it should be shot in July this year. Also, Prabhu wants the climax to be shot in Hyderabad instead of Mumbai, but the makers are keen on shooting the climax in Mumbai," says the source.
Both Prabhu Deva and producer Gordhan Tanwani remained unavailable for comment.
