Bollywood stars make big money and so does their support staff. Here's a look at how much salary they earn per day

An integral part of the lives of B-Town stars is the support staff that works for them. Many actors, in fact, consider their staff an extended family. It takes more than just talent and hard work to make a present-day film star. An army of professionals, including stylists, managers and make-up artistes work diligently to turn an actor into a brand.

Many Bollywood stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra have an entourage working for them day and night. The amount spent on the stars does not just constitute their acting fee, but also goes in paying members of their extended staff including hairstylists, spot-boy, security personnel and driver. While they do not work 30 days a month, they are paid as and when their services are required.

The Producers Guild issued a diktat two years ago, asking the stars to bear the entire expense of these people? hitlist gives a low down on their per day earnings:
