Khan said he was overwhelmed that so much significance was attached to his birthday. ''I am happy to know that my birthday is being remembered and celebrated by people in India and everywhere.'' ''My fans love me for my work, which includes singing and dancing. I will continue to do so till they want me to.'' ''It's completion of four decades (of life)... sounds nice and good,'' he said, adding that life has been good to him so far.
The King Khan said such celebrations make him feel more humble.
''I'm touched,'' he said, adding though he does not feel worthy for the respect and love showered by his fans, he would try to live up to their expectations.
Turning nostalgic, he said he cherished memories of television and added that the technological advancements on the small screen in recent times were extremely satisfying.
''All the news-based programmes are informative and technologically well made,'' he said and added that he had appeared in a small cameo in ''Kareena Kareena'' and had visited the sets of ''Jassi...'' because his kids were big fans of the serial.
