Sasural Simar Ka will soon see a two year leap in the show where Simar will be seen having a brand-new family along with a two-year old daughter. As the story post the leap unfolds, Simar will be married to a lawyer Vikrant Mehta and will be seen taking care of the family.

Television actor Aadesh Choudhary has been roped in to play the role of Vikrant Mehta. Vikrant will be seen essaying the role of a successful criminal lawyer who is a workaholic and has never lost a case in his life. He is also a mature and quiet man.

Though he is broody most of the times, Vikrant loves his family. He especially adores his daughter and is willing to go to any extent for her wellbeing.

Aadesh has previously been seen in shows such as Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Bhagyavidhata, Tere Liye and Byah Humari Bahu Ka.
