Poised as one of the biggest offering on Indian television, YUDH will mark legendary star Amitabh Bachchan's foray on the small screen in a fiction series. The series follows Yudhishthir Sikarwar (played by Amitabh Bachchan), a real estate baron, who has recently been diagnosed with a degenerative neurological disorder. YUDH narrates the story of this man who is invincible. It traces his journey, his struggle with his collapsing health, his battle with business rivals and his complicated family equations. An imaginative script along with the charismatic appeal of Mr. Bachchan and peerless storytelling of Anurag Kashyap is what will set YUDH apart from any other offering on the small screen. YUDH is co- produced by Amitabh Bachchan's production company Saraswati Creations in collaboration with Endemol India. Helming the show will be ace film maker Anurag Kashyap as the Creative Director along with Shoojit Sircar who has been roped in as a Creative Consultant. The series is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.

The show boasts of a stellar ensemble cast marking the debut of some well-known Bollywood actors namely Sarika, Nawazuddin Siddique, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Kay Kay Menon. For this show Anurag Kashyap has handpicked some of the finest talent from theatre and television, like Ayesha Raza, Zakir Hussain, Yusuf Hussain, Mona Vasu, Sanjay Gandhi amongst many others. They are ably supported by debutants Aahana Kumra, Pavail Gulati, Avinash Tiwari, in central roles.
