Priyanka Chopra is shooting for Rakesh Roshan's Krissh and seems completely ecstatic about her big project.
Ask her how the film is looking and she gushes, "I just saw the rushes. It's looking terrific. I play a cool character. I play a girl who goes through a great journey...I look very different from how people have seen me."
"I try and do different looks for each film. I chew my stylists' brains off. I think The Look is important. I don't want to look like Priyanka Chopra in every film. One of the perks of being an actor is you can be different people all the time. Krissh is a very emotional movie," she adds.
Priyanka knows that comparisons with Preity Zinta are bound to occur with Krissh but she makes it a point to clarify that Koi...Mil Gaya was just a prequel to her film and not the original as touted by many.
She says, "I can't compare my character with Preity's. There're no children in Krissh . But kids will love it. It's got a very feel good quality to it. This is my first film for the entirely family."
Remind her of all the 'adult' films she has worked in she lashes back," I don't want to be in 'adult' films, please! I'm still a child. I want to go to Neverland and live happily ever after."
As for Roshans... Priyanka has found a new family in them. With his father getting treatment in US and mother looking after him, Priyanka is out there all alone for the first time.
"Gudduji and Duggu have taken me under their wings. Not once have I felt alone in Singapore. My father's illness has taken its toll on me. But the whole family has been very supportive. The Roshans are a wonderful family. And then Manini Dey who plays my friend is completely mad. Both of us had a whale of a time. We drove half the crew mad," she gushes.
And Hrithik?
"He's all charged up about his work. He has his character so beautifully worked out. Above all he completely inspired me in Krissh to give my best."
Priyanka's forthcoming projects include Rohan sippy's Bluffmaster, Farhan Akhtar's Don and a costume drama Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam.
