Known for her striking beauty and graceful poise, Sanjeeda Sheikh has been a part of various dance reality shows. Seen performing various dancing styles, Sanjeeda tried something new this time at Zee TV's Boroplus Gold Awards. In the first of its kind horror act at an awards show, she enacted the role of a disgruntled spirit in an act that saw her matching steps with actors Ashish Chowdhry and Krystle D'Souza. Dancing to the tunes of Ang Laga Le from Ram Leela and Muskaane Jhoothi Hai from Talaash, the trio was seen performing together on the stage for the first time ever.

Putting together an act that left everybody in the audience spooked and stunned, Sanjeeda was quite convincing as Ashish Chowdhry's dead ex-lover whose intention was to avenge him by possessing his current lover Krystle's body.

Talking about her experience of shooting a spooky act, Sanjeeda said, `While I have earlier played a ghost in one of the daily soaps, this is the first time that I did a spooky act at an awards ceremony. I believe this is the first time ever that something so thematically different is being shot for an Awards ceremony. I'm glad to have tried something which I have not done earlier.`


Talking about her look, she added, `I like the whole smoky eyes look we've put together for this act. The tousled, unkempt hair, the intense expression as if I am pining for something ... choreography that is bound to send chills down the viewers' spine ...I'm very pleased with the way this act has shaped up, hope the audiences enjoy it as much!`

Hoping that the hard work pays off, Sanjeeda is looking forward to watch her performance on Television with her family and get a reaction from them while she is sure her fans are going to love her for tying something completely new.
