Emergence of discontent between films leading protagonists and their better halves 'the directors' or 'the producers' is not some thing in the showbiz. And there had been numerous instances when stars of cine galaxy after being part of a cine venture, have refused to be the part of promotional stint because of the reasons best known to them.

Be it Akki's divorcing from Joker's promotion because of some issues with Farah and Shirish, or Abhay's separation from the promotion of "Aisha" or Kangana's distancing from that of "Shoot out at Wadala", every-time we have witness that it's the strife between the makers and protagonists has in some way (either negative or positive) impacted the movies performance.


Now the latest swag of dispute which has joined this bandwagon is the one between Bipasha and Sajid, where the former has decided to isolate herself from the promotion of latter's upcoming cine delight "Humshakals".

Ever since the movie finished its post production module, the entire cast of the movie compromising of Saif, Ritesh, Tamannah, Esha, Sajid and Ram swung into promotional spree, but through out this campaign Bipasha's absence appeared quite conspicuous to everyone.

Although initially the makers tried to duck the questions pertaining to Bips absence on the pretext of her illness and the entire controversy remained dormant up-till some extent.

But it looks like one of the recent comments of Sajid, where he stated that "Bipasha is missing from the promotions because of the reasons best known to her", literally exacerbate the intensity of polemic. And compelled sizzling Bipasha to take on her twitter handle to clear her stance.


In an attempt of pausing all the apprehensions and hullabaloo, Bipasha posted from her twitter handle that, "This is to put an end to all the discussions around my absence for Humshakals promotions. I take full responsibility of getting into a film only on the basis of trust. But after dubbing for my character in the film, as I had professionally committed to do so I'm extremely disturbed by the end result of the same.In these circumstances I didn't know how to promote a film with all honesty and that's why I thought it was better to stay away. I am confident that the film will be true to it's genre and will be a full entertainer because of the people involved. I wish fox star studios who I have had my biggest hit with Raaz 3 and vashu ji who is a fantastic producer all the best. Wish all my co stars Saif, Riteish, Tamannah, Esha and the technicians best of luck. Sometimes, certain journeys cannot be completed and this is one of them - no one to be blamed, combination of things that made me disrupt my journey."

Saajid 's directorial venture "Humshakals" which is an out-and-out laugh riot starring Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor (in triple role), Tamannaah, Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta is scheduled to release this Friday. So let's hope that instead of adversely impacting the movies performance this controversy turns out to be boon for "Humshakals" and fetch good foot fall at its opening.
