While some of us feel privileged to have Amitabh Bachchan presence in our functions, government of India doesn't feel the same.

Recently, the Union ministry for Information and Broadcasting gave a raw deal to Goa Chief Minister Pratapsinh Rane for inviting Big B to inaugurate the 36th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

Why?

Sources believe that Amitabh's proximity with Samajwadi Party might have played the spoilsport. The buzz has it that now SRK and Sanjay Dutt will be doing the honour. Needless to say that both share a great rapport with ruling Congress party.
