Grapevine suggests that Zoya Akhtar's next film 'Dil Dhadakne Do' is inspired from the American show, 'Brothers & Sisters'.

Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar has begun shooting Dil Dhadakne Do with a bevy of Bollywood actors, including Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Anil Kapoor.

While the film, currently being shot aboard a cruise liner, has already created a lot of buzz for its star cast and a long schedule being shot at exotic locales, the grapevine has it that the film is a copy of the American television series, Brothers & Sisters.

Says an industry source, "The film tells the story of a dysfunctional family and the bond that they share. It is very similar to the plotline of Brothers & Sisters Of course, Dil Dhadakne Do will be Indianised for the audiences but it will essentially tell the same story."

Director Zoya Akthar remained unavailable for comment.
