He apparently didn't wish to promote Sunny Leone's film on his show and now it has emerged that Kapil Sharma is apparently not keen to have the cast of erotic thriller, Hate Story 2, on his show either. Comedy Nights With Kapil (CMWK) is a popular choice among films stars to promote their films and so it's no surprise that Kapil was approached to have the film's cast, Jay Bhanushali and Surveen Chawla on his show.
Says a source, `They refused to integrate with Hate Story 2 as they felt that the subject of the film was risque and bold. The film folk were told that CNWK is meant for family audiences, but at the same time Kapil cracks jokes with sexual innuendos on the show.` Adds the source, `As Jay and Surveen are TV actors, the film's makers felt that it was a good way to promote their show. But they were taken aback when their request was turned down.`
Last December, Kapil had allegedly expressed reservations about inviting Sunny Leone for promoting her film Jackpot on his show because of her past work as an adult film actress. Later, however, he merrily hobnobbed with her at a celebrity cricket match in Dubai and even offered to teach her Hindi. In March, when Sunny's film Ragini MMS 2 released, he had her on her show as a guest with producer Ekta Kapoor.
Adds the source, `As Sunny has done the item number, Pink Lips in Hate Story, the makers were willing to send Sunny instead, but there was no keenness shown in return.`
The production house and channel were unavailable for comment.

Sources say that Kapil's show may soon go off air
Kapil Sharma may have become a star thanks to his TV show, Comedy Nights With Kapil, but now it is being said that his show may go off air in September. It turns out that the channel has already slotted another show that will be aired in place of Kapil's show.
Says a source, `The channel has already approved a comedy show and this will replace Comedy Nights with Kapil. When Kapil got word about this, the channel asked him to continue with his show about at another time slot. This didn't go down well with Kapil as he doesn't want his show to compete with another comedy show on the same channel. He has apparently told the channel that he'd rather not do his show for the channel.`
The source adds that such a response should be not surprising in light of Kapil's recent behaviour. It may be pointed out that off late, he has been in the limelight for the wrong reasons. His arrogance and tantrums apparently cost him a project with Yash Raj Films.
