Celeb lives have always made for great dinner table conversations. With the paparazzi culture catching on, it's no wonder that tinseltown residents are having to put up a fight while guarding their personal lives.
What's interesting then is that at a time such as this, celebs are using social media as their mouthpiece. And while film announcements, public events and fan interactions are par for the course, announcing something of a personal nature - say, a marriage - is a whole different ballgame. But as it turns out, celebs are not shying away from using social media to make public their personal milestones.
A recent instance is when Soha Ali Khan tweeted earlier this week that her actor beau, Kunal Khemu had proposed to her and that she had said yes. The two actors have been living in for a while now and Kunal is said to have popped the question when the couple was on a holiday in Paris. `It gives me great happiness to share with you all that Kunal proposed to me in Paris with the most perfect ring in the world and I said yes,` read her tweet. The couple also thanked their friends, fans and followers for their best wishes.
Clearly, social media has brought about a revolution in the country. These days, many celebrities use this platform to make important announcements. They no longer need to rely just on mainstream media to spread the word for them; instead, social media is now their go-to platform.
