The 46-year-old popular star started his acting career with action films, but later branched out to genres like comedy, romance and drama. "Each genre is difficult. Comedy is the most difficult genre. But I like if comedy is done with action.
I enjoy this genre (action-comedy) the most," Akshay said at an event here tonight. He is looking forward to the release of his upcoming comedy film 'Entertainment', which revolves around a dog. "It is a genre nobody has tried for a long time.
A film with a human being and a dog has not come in last 15-18 years. In Hollywood there are such films like 'Planet of the Apes' and 'Godzilla'. It is a new genre that I have tried and I don't know if I will succeed."
The film, directed by debutant duo Sajid-Farhad, also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Sonu Sood, Mithun Chakraborty, Prakash Raj, Krishna Abhishek and Johnny Lever, among others, and is set to hit theatres on August 8.
