Known for being the guiding force behind showcasing beautiful B-Town dancers from Madhuri Dixit to Aishwarya Rai, Masterjiaka choreographer Saroj Khan roped in Aditi Rao Hydari to do a special song for her in Mrinal Kulkarni's Marathi period film called Rama Madhav.
An insider source reveals, "Set in 17th century, based on the life and love story of the legendary warrior of the Maratha empire Peshwa Madhavrao and his wife Rama, the film has its historic, old world appeal. The characters, their dressing etc is all exactly like it was in the 17th century. Given this, Aditi's special song, also showcases Aditi in a beautiful classic lenga choli with exquiste gold jewellery, right from the maang teekas to the round nose rings.
Keeping the look in mind and the fact that she needed a beautifully trained classical dancer, Saroj ji immediately requested Aditi to do the song, who in turn was only too happy to do it and work once again with her Masterji. Her classic beauty coupled with the fact that she's a trained classical dancer, all the pieces just fit in beautifully."
It is also believed that Aditi gave her heart to the song ensuring her commitment to rehearsals a few days prior to the shoot to get her steps down to the tee. That coupled with her natural dancing ability and her fantastic rapport with Masterji helped the makers get a visual treat in a record 6 hour shoot time frame!
