Model-turned-actor Dino Morea will make his debut in Kannada films with "Julie", a remake of Malayalam hit "Chattakkaari", also made in Hindi as "Julie".

Bangalore-born Dino will be paired with Ramya, who is considered a lucky mascot in the industry. Produced by KCN Movies, the film will be directed by Poornima Mohan.

Dino has acted in Hindi films like "Rakht", "Plan", "Baaz" and "Raaz".

Though "Julie" will be a heroine-oriented film, it will offer scope for the handsome hero, say its makers.

The film is expected to lure the audience with sensuous scenes featuring Dino and Ramya.
