Film actress and one time sex-bombshell, Ritu Shivpuri got married to businessman Venkat at Karjat, where they own a farmhouse. The actress whose most memorable performance was in the film Aar Ya Paar opposite Jackie Shroff, was also seen in a brief role in Lajja.

The wedding was a well-planned one, and all the guests mostly drove down to Karjat for the ceremonies. It may be noted that Ritu is the daughter of the late-great actor Om Shivpuri.
