The actor and team owner of the Jaipur Pink Panthers(PKL) and the Chennai Titans (ISL) was invited by former Inter Milan and Argentina captain Javier Zanetti to attend the match and will be the only Indian football team owner to attend the match organised by the Scholas Occurrentes initiative, an Argentine project that aims to educate the poor in different countries around the world, Italy's Fundazione PUPI, which works to unite people of different faiths and the United Nations' Rome-based Food and Agriculture Organisation is also partnering with the event.
Abhishek Bachchan will represent the Chennai Titans at the Match for Peace which will take place at Rome's Olympic stadium.
