If sources are to be believed, filmmaker Nikhil Advani, who is best known for directing hit films such as Kal Ho Na Ho and Salaam-e-Ishq, has now approached actress Konkana Sen Sharma for a fiction show that he is producing for a popular TV channel.
A source says, "Nikhil is very keen on signing on Konkana for the lead role. But things are still at the nascent stage. Nothing has been finalised yet.`
It may be pointed out that a number of film actresses are making appearances on television these days. Raveena Tandon is hosting a chat show, Simply Baatein, while Sonali Bendre will be seen with Apurva Agnihotri in the fiction show, Ajeeb Daastan Hai Yeh. On the other hand, Simone Singh is playing a pivotal role in Ek Hasina Thi. It remains to be seen if Konkona will take up this TV offer. The actress and Nikhil Advani remained unavailable for comment.
