Zoya Akhtar has been shooting the final schedule of her film, Dil Dhadakne Do, in Mumbai for the last few days. On Saturday, the entire cast was called early in the morning, but if sources are to be believed, not a single scene was shot despite hours of waiting.
A source says, "Zoya wanted to shoot a particular scene where most cast members were required to be present. She also wanted a different set up for the lighting. Accordingly, the call time for the unit was 6 am. The film's entire team was present and the actors too were ready to roll after an hour and a half. But none of them were called to shoot their scenes till evening."
It is being said that the film's shoot could not take place due a technical glitch. "It is the last schedule of the film and the actors have already given their bulk dates to Zoya. She is expected to wrap up the film by the end of the month, so understandably, the actors got a little impatient.
They started asking about when the shoot would start only to be told that the shoot would take place post lunch. The fact is that shooting didn't begin till evening. Most actors were sitting idle on the sets and some even complained how half the day was wasted," says the source. Zoya remained unavailable for comment.
