Bollywood actor Salman Khan today celebrated his 40th birthday at his farmhouse in Panvel, about 60 km from here.

The actor and his family members gathered at their farmhouse to celebrate the occasion.

It was a roller-coaster ride for Salman this year with films like 'No Entry' and 'Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya' becoming money spinners at the box office. His movie 'Lucky' also recorded average business.

The actor was involved in some controversies this year, including the alleged tape scandal where he allegedly threatened his ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai and admitted his links with underworld, and the Jodhpur court issuing an arrest warrant against him for failing to appear in court in the black buck hunting case.
