When it comes to love and relationships, Shruti Haasan still looks up to her now divorced parents (Kamal Haasan and Sarika).

On Niranjan Iyegar's TV chat show the actress has stated, "As a couple, my mom and dad were the most beautiful couple I have ever seen. There was a lot of love and warmth between them and it was wonderful to be around them at that time."

She has also stated on the show, "I would also like to have a child out of wedlock first and then get married."
