Post tonsil surgery, the actor has to wait another week for his normal diet

Ranbir Kapoor, who recently underwent a minor surgery for tonsil trouble, is recuperating at his Krishna Raj bungalow. A source close to the actor said doctors have advised him uninterrupted rest besides putting him on a liquid diet.

"Ranbir is not able to talk much and his friends have been visiting him off and on. The actor is also off solids due to the surgery. It won't be until another week that he can start eating proper food," the source said.

Ranbir is expected to resume shooting for Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos', which is on hold currently, by next week.

The actor remained unavailable for comment.
