Personal and professional competitiveness in tinsel town is nothing new either for those who are into Bollywood or for those who follow showbiz like religion. And probably this is the reason that many a times showbiz fanatics get an opportunity to see the B-town titans competing with each other on professional as well as personal fronts.

Now the latest fray which seems to be taking shape is between Hrithik and Salman, where former's recently released cine flick Bang Bang! is all set to enter the 300 crore club. And with the pace with which the earning of Bang Bang! is proceeding ahead there remains no doubts about the fact that in the days ahead it may break the record set by Salman's Kick, which released earlier this year.


If reports pertaining to Bang Bang's collections are to be believed then hitherto the movie has raked in Rs.158.29 crore nett (Rs.226.12 crore gross). Whereas in the overseas territories "Bang Bang!" has registered around Rs.72 crore, taking the worldwide box office collection to over Rs.298 crore gross.

Although Bang Bang! received a drab response from critics lobby when it was released, but in-spite of that the movie managed to grab a huge foot fall at the multiplexes.


And now with no major release lined up for almost next on week there are ample chances that, this Hrithik and Katrina starrer will knock down the record set by Salman and Jacqueline's "Kick" which earned Rs 366.72 Crore worldwide.

Though even before the release of the movie majority of people started seeing "Bang Bang!" as a cine chronicle which may dethrone Salman's "Kick" from the apex position of being the biggest BO grosser of 2014, but in-spite of that Hrithik always refrained from making any tall claims. But on being asked about possibilities of "Bang Bang!" breaking Kick's record at film fest, Hrithik hesitantly quoted that there are chances that his "Bang Bang!" will outmaneuver Salman's "Kick".
