Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has become the latest celebrity to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi's - 'Swachh Bharat' campaign and she has urged everyone to be a part of the cleanliness drive.

"The 'Swachh Bharat' campaign started by our Prime Minister is crucial for every section of the society and everyone should participate in it," the 39-year-old actress said.

Linking the campaign to Diwali she said, "The way we clean our houses before Diwali, we should try to clean our surroundings too. This will make the environment clean, which is good for us.

"I encourage my kids for cleanliness because the habit inculcated in childhood stays with a person forever," she said.


Congratulating BJP on winning Haryana and Maharashtra elections, she said, "People have high expectations from Modi, that's why after the Lok Sabha elections, they have shown their faith in him in Vidhan Sabha elections too."
