Sussanne Khan celebrated her birthday on 26th October. This is officially her first birthday post the couple's decision to divorce. It was reportedly around the time of her birthday (October 26) last year itself that there was trouble in paradise.

However, the couple had kept a lid on the twists and turns in their personal life till Hrithik Roshan issued an official statement in December. A close friend of Sussanne's said that the superstar wife's 2013 birthday wasn't exactly a happy one because she was embroiled in a personal turmoil then.

This year though, the soft-spoken but independent thinking Sussanne seems to have moved on. It is said that she was initially keen on spending her birthday overseas. However, since the divorce is likely to come through shortly, she has decided to stay put in India.

"Instead of travelling far, she decided to join her family who were in Goa for Diwali. And the celebrations extended to include her birthday," said our source. Sussanne confirmed the news, saying, "Thank you for your birthday wishes. Yes, I am in Goa with my family."
