It all happened when the makers of the film approached Abhishek with the idea a few days back. At that time, the junior Bachchan was extremely busy with the promotions of his latest release. However, he found the idea of the cameo so interesting that he immediately took time out for it.
Abhishek was shooting till six in the morning on the day he shot for The Shaukeens. He just slept for a couple of hours before he faced the camera again.
Director Abhishek Sharma is not willing to reveal more about what Bachchan is doing in the film. But it surely seems pretty interesting after hearing what Sharma says about his experience. "I had always heard that Abhishek has a great sense of humour. But this time, I saw it for myself."
According to Sharma, when Abhishek gave the shot, the director had a tough time controlling his own laughter. "I have become a huge Abhishek fan after this experience," says Sharma.
Abhishek himself had a great time on the sets. "It was good fun," he says.
The Shaukeens releases on November 7 and is produced by Murad Khetani, Cape Of Good Films & Ashwin Varde
