The actor's divorce was expected to come through on by the end of this month with the hearing date scheduled for October 31. However, Hrithik Roshan may not be available on that day.
Says his lawyer, Dipesh Mehta, "We may not be able to present ourselves in the court as it is not convenient to us. We will be asking for another date for the hearing." The exact reason for the decision is yet to be ascertained.
It appears that both Hrithik and Sussanne Khan have to resolve some personal issues before legally separating. Not very long ago, there was a buzz that Sussanne had demanded Rs 400 crore as alimony, which was denied by the actor. Then, the duo filed a combined petition stating that irreconcilable temperamental differences had made it impossible for them to live together.
Sussanne Khan moved out of the Roshan household in January this year. In April, the two decided to dissolve their marriage by mutual consent and agreed on an out-of-court settlement with regard to the alimony, residence and permanent maintenance of Sussanne and their two sons to their mutual satisfaction. Primary custody of their kids remains with his estranged wife.
Hrithik Roshan was not available for comment.
