The Hollywood Reporter, a one-stop-shop for movies ,fashion, television and technology has acted as a holy grail when it comes to film reviews over the years. The portal which recently reviewed blockbuster Happy New Year didn't hold back on their praise towards Abhishek Bachchan's performance in the film.

Says the Hollywood Reporter, "Abhishek Bachchan leaves a lasting impression - the son of screen king Amitabh Bachchan is developing a reputation as a gifted comic (Bol Bachchan) and he shines here as a drunk, unfocused loser who has to impersonate the brutish scion to a diamond empire, complete with a pink velvet blazer, a sculpted pencil-thin beard and a vulgar American accent."

Abhishek Bachchan is currently on a roll , with the stupendous success of his last film Dhoom 3, followed by his championship win at the Pro-Kabaddi League , the actor now has another reason to celebrate as his recent blockbuster, Happy New Year created a landmark in box office history. What's more ,is that the actor has been touted as the one to watch out for ,in the masala entertainer, with the audiences and critics alike lauding him as the "show stealer".
